WHAT DO WE NEED?

From buyers, you will collect:

  1. Name & contact information of their lawyer.

  2. Name & contact information of their lender.

  3. Their job title/nature of occupation.

  4. Proof of deposit of funds due within 24 hours.

  5. Bank account # and type (chequing or savings?) of the bank account from which the deposit money is extracted.

  6. Government photo ID if not collected prior to making the offer.

From sellers, you will collect:

  1. Name & contact information of their lawyer.

Congratulations on the firm purchase of your new home at 123 Main St! I am ecstatic for you. See the fully signed agreement of purchase and sale attached to this email for your records.

Now, on to the next steps to keep this agreement alive:

  1. A $$$$ deposit is due within 24 hours. We have to submit the deposit of $$$ before tomorrow, MONTH & DAY, at TIME. The best and most effective way to do this would be via wire transfer, to make sure it arrives on time (see instructions attached to this email). It is strongly recommended you complete this transfer today, if at all possible. Please be sure to keep proof of the transfer being completed, and share a picture or scan of the proof of deposit with me via email.

  2. Please share the following information with me for each buyer on title within the next 2 business days to help me comply with FINTRAC regulations:

    1. A picture or scan of government photo ID.

    2. Your current employment title and employer, or nature of business or occupation if you are self-employed.

  3. I will also require the following information partly to comply with FINTRAC regulations, and partly to make sure your lender and lawyer have all of the correct documents to process your home purchase.

    1. Bank account # and type (chequing or savings) of the bank account from which the deposit money is extracted.

    2. Name & contact information of your lawyer.

    3. Name & contact information of your lender.
