iXact Monthly Email Newsletter Video Embed Workaround {{ currentPage ? currentPage.title : "" }}

Here is a video with a walkthrough of how embed a Bombbomb video in to the iXact e-newsletter that goes out once a month on the 15th.

  1. Send Nick the personal message write up to Nick and ask for a video to be recorded to go with this e-blast

  2. Once you have the video saved in Bombbomb,

  3. Open iXact

  4. In the menu on the left hand side of the screen, choose “Mass Email”

  5. Under the title, you will see 4 tabs, choose the one that says “Create New Email”

  6. You will see a button on the right hand side of the screen right above the text box labeled “INSERT BOMBBOMB VIDEO” - select that button

  7. Choose the video you wish to use in the monthly e-blast

  8. It will upload with some text above the video and situated to the left of the page

  9. Delete the text, highlight the video and Crtl + C the video

  10. Scroll to the top of the screen and choose the tab under the title labeled “Monthly e-Newsletter” - select that without saving the email (abandon the email because we will no longer be needing it)

  11. Scroll down to the section “Email Content” and select “CUSTOMIZE PERSONAL MESSAGE”

  12. Select where you would like the video to appear (usually under the salutations) and Ctrl + V

  13. Center the video and select “Save & Send”

  14. Watch the video that is sent to yours or Nick’s email to ensure it is formatted correctly.
