This page outlines the process for adding a new property listing to the updated NickFundytus.ca website.
Purpose
To create a consistent and efficient method for adding listings to our website that reflects our team’s brand standards and minimizes setup errors.
Objectives:
Maintain a uniform, polished look across all listings
Reduce time spent troubleshooting or re-formatting
Ensure accurate and up-to-date listing details online
Required Materials
Before starting, confirm that the following items are in the property’s Google Drive Listing Folder:

Procedure
1. Upload Listing Photos
Log into NickFundytus.ca/admin.
Navigate to Media → Add New.
Create a folder titled with the full property address (e.g. 123 Main Street).
Drag & drop photos from Google Drive Desktop into this folder.
2. Create or Duplicate a Listing
From the left-hand menu, go to Listings.
Duplicate a recent listing (choose a similar property type — condo or freehold).
Open the duplicate in WordPress Edit Mode.
Change the Title to the property’s full address (e.g. 114 Lees Avenue).
3. Complete the Listing Details
Fill in the listing chart as follows:

Click Save Draft when finished.
4. Edit with Elementor

Ctrl + Alt + Vto paste cleanly without formatting.
Add or Update Sections
YouTube Video Tour:
Replace URL with correct YouTube link.
3D Tour:
Update iframe HTML URL only (do not remove existing code).
Other Sections to Update
Key Features: Use existing 3-column format (e.g. Main Level | Upper Level | Lower Level | Location)
Gallery: Replace default photos with listing photos from Media Library
Location: Add address to the Map
Buttons:
Floor Plans → Link to Drive folder
Pre-Inspection → Link to report
HoodQ Report → Link to file
Condo Docs → Link to folder (if applicable, delete if not)
Did You Know / Key Systems:
Data from Intake Form.
List updates from newest → oldest.
Save draft frequently.
5. Review and Publish
Review for spelling, format, and accuracy.
Have Nick review if unsure.
Once approved, click Publish.
Adding Supporting Documents
🧾 Pre-Inspection Report
Download from Nick’s email.
Upload to
Google Drive > Year > Property > Client Facing Files.Set sharing to “Anyone with link”.
Edit listing → Elementor → Pre-Inspection Button → Update Link.
📄 Status Certificate (Condos Only)
Download all docs from Seller/Agent.
Upload to
Google Drive > Year > Property > [Address] Status Certificate.Set sharing to “Anyone with link”.
Elementor → Status Certificate Button → Paste Link.
📐 Floor Plans
Retrieve from Ardent Media
Upload to Drive > “(Address) Floor plans”.
Set sharing to “Anyone with link”.
Elementor → Floorplans Button → Paste Link.
🏠 3D Tour
Copy iGuide link (available 24–48 hrs post-shoot).
Elementor → 3D Tour iframe → Replace only the URL inside quotation marks.
Save changes.
🎥 YouTube Video
Locate final video on Ardent’s site.
Add subtitles via Happy Scribe (verify accuracy).
Create thumbnail in VistaCreate (low resolution).
Upload to Nick’s YouTube with tags
Copy YouTube link → Elementor → Video Tour Section → Update Link.
Notes & Tips
Always save as draft before publishing.
Use full addresses for titles (e.g. “114 Lees Avenue”).
Confirm all Google Drive links are public.
Avoid editing published listings directly — duplicate first.
Back up the listing before major edits.
When unsure, consult Nick or a teammate.
