How to Book Showings
How to Book Showings, Inspections and Appraisals in Showing Time
Navigate to OREB
Select REALM
Search the property that you wish to book a showing for.
Click on: Online Appointment. This will bring you to Showingtime.
Select “Schedule a Single Showing” at the bottom
If the property is available to view, the time boxes will be white. If they are blocked off, they will be black.
Select your time box (they are in 15 min increments) and select the details you need in the box that pops up.
Schedule every one, including previews for Nick, as “Showing”
Select the end time of the showing. Choose a 1/2 hour block (usually).
Select or input the buyer’s name as this will help you keep track.
Press ”Request Appointment”
It will either confirm immediately (Go and Show Properties), will be confirmed by Seller later, or denied in Showingtime. Check on the status frequently until accepted. If you are finding that it is taking some time to be accepted, I suggest giving the listing agent a courtesy call to check in. Sometimes technology fails us and the Sellers don’t receive the notification for the showing request.
. Once you have the showing confirmed, email the client to inform them.
How to Set up a New Listing on Showing Time
** Don’t forget to check the box in showing time for “Accepting Online Bookings.”
