Summary

This is a hybrid role that blends systems administration with boots-on-the-ground community engagement.

This seat partners with our Sales and Marketing Admin (Hannah) to execute our marketing vision locally. While Hannah manages the high-level strategy, you will be the one making it happen—whether that means organizing our database in Follow Up Boss or driving through Beacon Hill to interview a local business owner for our website.

Core Responsibilities

  1. Content Creation - Generally as directed by the Sales/Marketing Seat (Hannah). These might include:

    1. Creating templates: For use by the team, particularly for weekly posting schedule and for Realtor use.

    2. Maintaining a shared Google Drive of Images, B-Roll and Logos: Acting as the organizer and guardian of team “stock footage.”

    3. Turning raw footage/images into polished products: This might include final edits to a podcast episode, subtitling videos or creating thumbnail images for YouTube videos.

    4. Assembling the Monthly Market Update Video

    5. Designs for web and social: Executing our designs online and working within brand guidelines.

    6. Amplifying team activities: Creating summaries of blogs, podcasts, market updates and more to drive views to our website and social channels.

    7. Gathering content for farm: Interviewing local businesses and charities, schools and community leaders to create content for our farm website.

  2. Social and Print Posting - Generally on a schedule or as directed by the Sales/Marketing Seat (Hannah). These might include:

    1. Meta (Instagram and Facebook): Posting and adding stories daily (on a weekly schedule), over a variety of topics.

    2. Google My Business: Posting social proof (just listed/sold), testimonials, client events.

    3. LinkedIn: Syndicating blog posts, market updates, podcast episodes and posts on charitable work.

    4. YouTube: Posting Podcast episodes, monthly market update videos and more with branded thumbnails, keeping playlists up to date and maintaining a consistent tag list for our library of episodes.

    5. Simplecast: Publishing completed episodes for distribution, along with show notes and episode thumbnails.

    6. Nickfundytus.ca: Posting podcast episodes (video and audio), updating copy and visuals where requested by Nick or the Sales and Marketing Seat (Hannah).

  3. Farm - This seat is accountable for launching and maintaining the Beacon Hill “Farm” under Nick’s direction and with Hannah’s assistance.

1. Field Operations & "The Beacon Hill Farm" Launch

  • Community Journalism: Drive to Beacon Hill to capture original photos of local businesses, parks, and attractions for our marketing materials.

  • Local Interviews: Visit schools and local business owners to conduct brief interviews, gathering details to build robust, authentic content for the new Beacon Hill Farm website.

  • Physical Presence: Execute physical marketing tasks, such as working with printers and distributors to send out postcard campaigns. 

2. CRM & Technology Management

  • CRM Integrity (Follow Up Boss): Serve as the guardian of our database. Ensure contact records are complete, tagged correctly, and that the database remains clean so our automated nurture campaigns run without errors.

  • Website Integration: Manage the integration of MyRealPage listings into our WordPress environments for both nickfundytus.ca and the new Beacon Hill website, ensuring all listings display correctly.

  • Neighbourhood Profiles: Use the data and photos gathered during your fieldwork to expand and update the neighbourhood profiles on our websites.

3. Lead Flow & Agent Support

  • Lead Triage: Act as the "Air Traffic Controller" for incoming leads, ensuring they are immediately assigned to the correct agent.

  • Agent Accountability: Monitor agent activity in the CRM to ensure leads are being worked according to our process and provide administrative support to unblock the sales team.

4. Marketing Execution

  • Updating Socials and Website: Executing our designs online and working within brand guidelines.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Mobility: Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for fieldwork in Beacon Hill.

  • Tech Proficiency: Comfortable managing back-end systems. Experience with Follow Up Boss (CRM) and WordPress is required. MyRealPage is a new tool to our team, and you’ll help make sure it’s integrated successfully into our websites.

  • Communication Skills: Comfortable walking into a business and introducing yourself to conduct short interviews or take photos. 

  • Execution-Focused: You are organized and detail-oriented. You take a strategy and turn it into completed tasks.
