The Machete is an enchanted object and a powerful weapon owned by Jack in Elmo’s Country. It enchants and enhances its user with superhuman strength.

Story

When Jack was in middle school, he encountered an incarnation of Anti-Elmo, named The Figure. He used many different weapons to avoid capture, and upon defeating the Figure for the first time, he saw a shimmer of light nearby. Said light turned out to be the machete’s blade. Jack then pulled the machete from a stone it was stuck in, causing a force within the mysterious blade to bestow superhuman strength onto him. This gave Jack the resolve to finally defeat the Figure for good.

Design

The machete is an ordinary machete; it has a string added around the handle by Jack as a makeshift wrist strap. The non-sharpened side of the blade is serrated, although it is unknown why this is. The machete’s handle is camouflaged, added by Jack, to match his signature green fleece jacket.
