Jonathan Stephen Ross (born 17 November 1960) is an English presenter. He currently presents a talk show on ITV. He was previously employed in a similar capacity for the BBC before losing his position after an ill-advised prank phone call to the late Andrew Sachs. 

Ross has come under fire for various controversial comments and remarks made on air. He has been particularly susceptible to scrutiny after it was revealed that he was on a sufficiently higher salary than others employed by the BBC.

He is married to the writer Jane Goldman, with whom he has three children. He is an ardent comic book fan and collector of memorabilia.

Quiz Show Appearances:

  • Celebrity Catchphrase (25/03/2018) Ross appeared alongside presenter Tess Daly and actress Linda Robson. He tallied a prize fund of £7,000, winning the episode. On the final catchphrase he netted a further £25,000, as well as correctly answering the bonus catchphrase to double the prize pots of his two fellow contestants. Ross played for The Lowe Syndrome Trust.
