Joseph Owen Thomas (born 28 October 1983) is an English actor best known for playing Simon on The Inbetweeners. Thomas studied at Cambridge University where he was a member of comedy organisation Footlights. Here he met Inbetweeners co-star Simon Bird.

Thomas has also appeared in feature film The Festival, as well as double glazing comedy White Gold and two feature length spin offs of The Inbetweeners.

Thomas is engaged to Inbetweeners and The Festival co-star Hannah Tointon.

• Celebrity Mastermind, 2018/19 series Episode 5 - Thomas appeared alongside former rugby player Maggie Alphonsi, food writer Jay Rayner, and musician Ana Matronic. His specialist subject was George Orwell; Thomas was the overall winner of the episode.
