Stephen William Bragg (born 20 December 1957) is an English singer-songwriter. He released his first album in 1983 and from there has enjoyed a successful career, both as a solo artist and collaborating with American folk rock band Wilco.

A keen political activist, Bragg spent much of the 1980s campaigning against Thatcherism, and has spoken in relation to numerous political campaigns, including prison reform and impropriety in the British press, for the entirety of his career. 

Bragg’s allegiances have shifted between Labour, the Liberal Democrats, and the Green Party during recent elections. Most recently he has been vocal in his support of former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn.
