Vertebrates: Animals with a backbone {{ currentPage ? currentPage.title : "" }}

The purpose of this online learning assignment is for secondary level Biology students to be able to identify with the different classes of animals that contain a backbone and skeletal structure, under the phylum Vertebrates. Students will demonstrate a working knowledge of what each particular class of animal is by identifying core features about each class including physical structure, types of ecosystems the class of animal thrives in, differences between one class of animal and another (if any exist), and a general understanding of the type of animal class they are researching.

This online course satisfies that South Carolina State Standard B-5.4 and B-5.7 under Biology Standard B-5 for secondary level education students in a Biology program.
