Lazy Wonderful Fruit Topping {{ currentPage ? currentPage.title : "" }}

Something that tastes like it was cooked, but you don’t have to cook it? Something that tastes sweet and dessert-y, but with no added sugar? Sign me up for some lazy fruit topping!

Ingredients:

Assorted frozen fruit.

We typically use:

Raspberries

Strawberries

Blackberries

Blueberries

Recipe Instructions:

Just grab a few different kinds of frozen fruit, combine them in a Tupperware, and put it in the fridge to thaw.

Being frozen macerates the fruit a bit, so once it thaws, you end up with this awesome mix of soft fruit and a fruit-juicy sauce that is a perfect topping for pudding, ice cream, etc. It really shouldn’t be as good as it is.

Pre-thaw.

You can use it cold, or microwave it and use it as a hot topping over ice cream.

You could even microwave it, plop a half-biscuit on top, add a dollop of coconut milk whipped cream, and call it a “cobbler.” Or do the same with a granola topping instead and call it a “crumble.” The lazy options are endless!
