1. Uninstall / Delete old files

Navigate to your programs list (Search add or remove programs)

Uninstall Total War Arena

Navigate to your hard drive (search This Pc)

Select your hard drive

Select Program Files x86

Delete your Baogames and Baogames Download files.

Search Total War Arena right click and Open File Location of any remaining files and delete them.

Be sure to delete the desktop shortcut and any other total war arena related files, then empty your recycling bin.

2. Download + Registration

Get on the official website: http://arena.163.com/download

Select the golden download option on the left

Open the file and select the I agree box above the gold button. Then select the gold button to download.

Notes: You must download the application and the game files to the main hard drive on your computer. In most cases this is the C:Drive.

If you do not select the I agree to terms boxs, the download won’t work properly

If you already have an account, you can log-in by pressing the golden button and installing the game.

If not, you have to create an account by following the red marks in the guide.

Now you'll receive an confirmation e-mail. Accept it and you can proceed to the log-in. Be in mind that some special e-mail providers, do not work. You are always save, when you use providers like "GoogleMail", "Yahoo"...

When you are logged in, tick the little box above and press the golden button to install the game files. Keep in mind that your download will mostly have a very low speed due to saving costs for the chinese publisher.

Changing the language to ENG

When you launch the game without changing the language, you will play in chinese language.

Click on the wrench in the launcher

--> middle button --> then open the folder "data"

  1. Delete the file “local_cn.pack”

  2. Change inside the file “language.txt” CN to EN

If you can’t change the “language.txt”, you can copy the file on your desktop, change it there and move the file back afterwards.

Everything worked? If not move on to “Technical problems” …
