7 - Completing achievements is a good goal to proceed in the game

8 - Get more types of crops, you can get seeds from some merchants in exchange for gold

9 - Amulets can add some new attribute to you, choose which one you need.. see here

10 - Bosses ?

you are not obligated to anything in the game, the world is yours, the bosses are there just as another objective and for those looking for some kind of extra challenge..
