The film is watchable for the first hour or so. In a way, it establishes the framework for the entire film. Not until Knoxx appears does the film begin to lighten up. In this performance, Connor McGregor brought the film to life, and it seemed as though Jake Gyllenhaal's demonic side was only sparked by his appearance. The collaboration between Knox, Dalton, and The Nice Bad Guy makes the film entertaining to watch. Roadhouse 2024 isn't exactly Tom Elliott as Patrick Swayze, but it's still a fantastic recreation of the movie. Unquestionably worthwhile to see.
