I will refrain from being overly critical in my assessment. This film is not intended to be anything more than a romantic comedy with lovely scenery. If you are anticipating more than that, I recommend not bothering. The plot is charming and foreseeable. Nonetheless, it served as a decent way to pass an hour and a half, even if you found yourself envious of the setting at that time. It is refreshing to see Lindsay Lohan in this romantic comedy. She portrays her character well, someone who struggles to assert herself and is somewhat submissive when it comes to her crush, Paul Kennedy. However, as the saying goes, the grass is not always greener on the other side, it just seems that way. And chaos ensues through a wish to Saint Bridget.
