Introduction {{ currentPage ? currentPage.title : "" }}

Welcome to today’s 11th Grade US History Class Students!!!

Today you will be historians researching all about suffrage and the suffrage movement!

Your goal is to research with the websites provided to find information about different suffrage topics.

Since, there is 16 of you in this class you will be broken up into 4 groups of 4. Each group will be given a different task and you will have a group change at the end to further instruct your fellow classmates.

I am expecting this assignment to take three class periods to complete. The first day will be to gather information, the second day will be to work on completing the group projects, and the final day will be to present the projects.

The standard to keep in mind today is below:

USHC-4.6

Compare the accomplishments and limitations of the women’s suffrage movement and the Progressive Movement in affecting social and political reforms in America, including the roles of the media and of reformers such as Carrie Chapman Catt, Alice Paul, Jane Addams, and presidents Theodore Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson.
