After this web quest, the students are to have a better understanding of the leaders and battles of the American Civil War. The small groups part of the web quest is to let the students go in depth with one of the topics at hand to further their knowledge of the Civil War. They presented their projects to the other groups to let them see other sides of the war and how it effected the country as a whole. The different modes of presentation are to not only keep the student interested in the presentations but also let the students learn how to present topics in different ways.
