A crash simulation is a computer-simulated recreation of a harmful collision test of a car or a highway guard rail system in order to gauge the level of safety of the vehicle and its occupants. When impacts occur to the vehicle's front end structure in a head-on collision or "frontal impact," the lateral structure in a side collision or "side impact," the rear end structure in a rear impact, and the roof structure when the vehicle rolls over, the safety of the occupants is examined using crash simulations. High-accuracy simulation software is used by Jimmy Lea PhD-qualified crash simulation consultants to conduct the hostile vehicle mitigation (HVM) study. Our investigations accelerated the design and development of HVM barrier systems in comparison to completing actual crash tests.
