Through this project lesson, students should leave with a better understanding of the leaders who developed the new nation. Students should be able to recall the accomplishments of leaders including: George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, Alexander Hamilton, John Marshall, and James Madison. Students should have explored the differences of these leaders. They should also be able to recall the similarities that these men share. Through these presentations, students will be teaching their peers about their assigned leader. Once presentations are complete, a quiz will be given on the following day. Students will have to recall what they learned from their peers.
