Burl Earnhardt is the host of the “Greetings from Goat Island” radio show on KGTX 690AM and is also the owner of the Poopy Pelican.
Earnhardt is a direct descendant of the British Sailors who washed up on Goat Island in 1846.
He is a former City Councilman who has a anti tourist stance.
He attended Texas State University in San Marcos for three years but never graduated. He took over operations of the Poopy Pelican in 2003 after the death of his grandmother.
