Steps to add SBC global email to iPhone
Open the settings of your IOS device, to begin with.
In the settings option, click on the mail, contacts, and calendar option.

Email: type your correct email address in this field
Password: enter your mail password correctly in this field

From there, click on next. Now select IMAP that is under the incoming mail server and enter the details given below;
Hostname: imap.mail.att.net
Username: the username is your SBC global email address
Password: sbcglobal.net is your mail account password
Next, you will need to enter the details given below for the outgoing mail server field
Hostname: smtp.mail.att.net
Username: the username is your SBC global email address
Password: your mail account password is SBC global.net
Save all the changes that you have made.
Now move to the settings. Select the SBC global account and click on the advanced tab to enter the details given below;
SSL: tick yes for this field
Authentication: enter your password
Server port: enter 993 in this field
In the next field, use the outgoing settings that are given below;
SSL: tick yes for this field
Authentication: enter your password for this field
Server port: enter 465 in this field
