The class will be divided into 6 groups. Each group will be given 1 of the 6 landforms: 

• Volcano 

• Mountain 

• Valley 

• Canyon 

• Plateau 

• Island 

Each group will research their given landform and provide the following information on a poster board: 

• The definition of what the landform is 

• Where this landform can be found 

• A specific name of the landform you researched (ex. Sahara Dessert, Appalachian Mountains) 

Along with the information above the following should be included on your poster boards: 

• Title 

• Group Members Names 

• Date 

• At least 2 pictures of the landform, no more than three
