Now that we learned about the stars, and we have talked about them as a class, we will now have an activity to show what we have learned.

For this activity the students will use toothpicks and small marshmallows to create the Big Dipper constellation. Each student will be given 15 toothpicks and 15 marshmallows to work with. Each student will also receive a print out of the constellation to have something to follow.
