In accordance with Emirates Airlines cancellation policy, you may postpone your flight and get a full refund if:
You reserve a flight leaving from the USA:
cancel it within 24 hours of departure, and
do it at least seven days before your flight.
Bookings are made via Emirates' American website.
Your departure was postponed.
The COVID-19 scenario has an impact on your flight or travel itinerary.
Your flight from Emirates is delayed by at least five hours and is leaving from a terminal in the European Union.
A Flex Plus ticket is cancelled.
Despite having a verified reservation, you were refused boarding.
You postpone your flight because of bad weather.
If you can demonstrate an emergency that prevents you from making it to your flight, such as the death or serious sickness of a fellow traveller or a member of your close family, Emirates may agree to your request to cancel.
In all other cases, there will be a cancellation fee.
