In accordance with Emirates Airlines cancellation policy, you may postpone your flight and get a full refund if:

  • You reserve a flight leaving from the USA: 

    • cancel it within 24 hours of departure, and 

    • do it at least seven days before your flight.

    • Bookings are made via Emirates' American website.

  • Your departure was postponed.

  • The COVID-19 scenario has an impact on your flight or travel itinerary.

  • Your flight from Emirates is delayed by at least five hours and is leaving from a terminal in the European Union.

  • A Flex Plus ticket is cancelled.

  • Despite having a verified reservation, you were refused boarding.

  • You postpone your flight because of bad weather.

  • If you can demonstrate an emergency that prevents you from making it to your flight, such as the death or serious sickness of a fellow traveller or a member of your close family, Emirates may agree to your request to cancel.

In all other cases, there will be a cancellation fee.
