Name that Habitat! Today, we will be gathering information to describe our habitats. Do you think you can figure out what the other groups habitats are? You will be assigned into groups, in your groups you will be assigned a habitat that you will investigate. You will find they key aspects of these habitats and arrange them to be presented. The goal is to provide enough details that your classmates can figure it out, without telling them the name. But first lets watch a short video about what is an habitat. 

A habitat is the natural home or environment of an animal, plant, or other organism. It must provide the following sufficient space, food, water and shelter. 

The six major habitats are:

1) Forest Habitat (Coniferous & Deciduous)

2) Tropical Rain Forest Habitat

3) Desert Habitat (Cold & Hot)

4) Water Habitat (Fresh & Salt)

5) Grassland Habitat.

6) Polar Habitat.
