Because of these oddities and lack of uniformity I took off 2 stars.

Granted this could be due to the HST done at the beginning of flowering but a friend of mine who grew my third seed has a similar amount of seeds and he did LST only grow.

Blue Ice OG was an easy plant to grow. I do find the genetics to be unpredictable, 1 plant changed colors as advertised when introduced to lower temps. I've also had issues with seeds forming in buds.

The taste of the bud itself is delicous. Both plants have a similar berry taste with hints of a lemony zestiness. The effects are very relaxing and stress free. I let my trichomes mature for a long time with lots of amber. The effects way heavy on the eyes and behind the eyes.

Blue Ice City is Sweet Tooth (f) originally sourced from Barney’s Farm Genetics crossed to a Bluetopia (m). The Sweet Tooth female was put through rigorous testing and research and was a winner in all aspects. The Bluetopia stud was a gem as well, with magenta striped pollen sacks and amazing intermodal spacing and the stem rub smelled like blueberries, citrus and old school kush. Expect lots of tropical pineapple and minty after tones, plus sweet yet pungent and rancid flavors and smells as well. Typically finishes flowering in 63-70 days, responds well to topping and LST.

Blue Ice OG was created by crossing an elite clone of the famous and in-demand OG Kush strain along with a Blueberry Ice. It is a strong and robust plant with good yields and an incredibly intense flavour. It turns shades of purple and dark blue when night-time temperatures drop below 12°C.

Blue Ice OG, at 60% Sativa, is not a particularly large plant but it can still attain a height of 170 cm. if planted outside directly into the ground. It has a very vigorous period of vegetative growth before hitting the flowering stage and is a very easy strain even for the novice grower. The strong stems are ideally suited to carry the burden of very dense and weighty buds. Flowering indoors lasts for about 60 days after which time harvest of approximately 500 gr/m2 dried weight will be realised. If cultivated outdoors yields will be in the region of 800 gr/plant with northern hemisphere harvests being during the first half of October.

The fruity flavour is reminiscent of berries with notes of soft citrus (lemon). THC production falls into the medium range (10 – 15%) with low CBD. The effect is extremely relaxing, both cerebrally and physically, very long-lasting and most enjoyable. It is claimed to have medicinal applications and would be a very good stress-buster.
