How big is it?

A Pygmy (pronounced PIG-me) Marmoset is a very small monkey. The biggest Pygmy Marmoset only grows to be a little more than 6 inches long and weigh about 3 to 5 ounces. The same as 25 quarters. Pygmy Marmosets are small, their tails are long and can grow to be as long as 9 inches. Like th size of a small bearded dragon lizard.

Where does it live?

Pygmy Marmosets live in the countries of Educator, northern Bolivia, Brazil, Columbia , and Peru in South America. They live high up in the trees of rainforests near rivers and sometimes in bamboo groves.

What does it eat?

Pygmy Marmosets are omnivores, that mean they eat a variety of foods. Their diet includes insects, fruits, tree sap and other small animals.
