Input Profiles
{{ currentPage ? currentPage.title : "" }}
Input profiles are a simple data structure which take analog input and shapes it into digital ‘steps’ specifically within the Trajectory Generator component. The reason for this is that motion matching cannot maintain persistent blends of animations so having analog speeds via blending is not possible. This is not all bad since the idea behind motion matching is to reduce the amount of blending to improve fidelity. There are alternative methods to achieve variable speeds without motion matching (i.e. stride warping).
